Questions
Is MultiScreenAI free?
Yes. The workspace is free while we are in beta. You bring your own API keys, so you pay each provider directly at their normal rates and nothing is marked up.
Where are my API keys stored?
Only in your browser, tied to your Google account. When you send a message the key travels with that one request to the provider and is never saved or logged on our servers.
Which models can I use?
Every chat model your keys can reach across 14 providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, OpenRouter, Perplexity, Together AI, Fireworks, Cerebras, Moonshot and Qwen. Press Sync in the model menu to load the live list for your key, so new models appear the day they launch.
Do I need a key for every provider?
No. One key is enough to start. A single OpenRouter key unlocks hundreds of models from most labs.
Are my chats saved?
Yes, in your browser. Your comparisons are searchable from the sidebar and never stored on our servers.
What can each model do here?
Everything its API offers that makes sense in a chat. Claude can search the web and run code to give you real files such as a .zip, Excel sheet or chart. Gemini can search Google and run code. Perplexity always searches the web. GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana create images. Claude, Gemini and OpenAI read PDFs, and every model reads images (where supported) and text or code files.
What is the difference between the two modes?
Multi-screen gives every panel its own chat box, so you can work with several AIs on different things at once. Test sends one prompt to every panel, times each answer, can hide model names for a blind test and lets you pick the best.
Which is better: ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
It depends on the task. Each model leads at different things, such as writing, coding, long documents or real-time facts, and new versions change the picture every few months. MultiScreenAI lets you ask all of them the same question and compare the answers side by side, or run a blind test, so you can see which is best for your own work.
How is MultiScreenAI different from ChatHub, Poe or TypingMind?
MultiScreenAI is free during the beta and runs on your own API keys, so there is no subscription and no markup: you pay each provider its normal rate. It also has a Test mode with timing and blind voting, gives each model its real tools (web search, code execution with downloadable files, image generation), and supports 14 providers and 300+ models.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes. In Chrome or Edge choose Install app from the address bar. On iPhone use Share, then Add to Home Screen.
